Privacy Policy

Last updated: 16/05/2026

The Grade AI respects your privacy and is committed to protecting users' personal data. This Policy explains how we collect, use, and store your information, in accordance with the General Data Protection Law (LGPD – Law No. 13,709/2018).

1. Roles in Data Processing

For the purposes of the LGPD, the roles are defined as follows:

  • Grade AI, which provides the technology platform and processes data exclusively in accordance with the instructions of the teacher users.
  • the teacher or education professional who creates an account and enters data into the platform. The controller decides what data to collect, from which students, and for what purpose.

By creating an account and using Grade AI, the teacher assumes full responsibility as data controller, as described in section 5 of this Policy.

2. Information We Collect

Teacher data (collected directly):

  • Full name and email address;
  • Password (stored in encrypted form);
  • Profile picture and Google ID, when logging in with Google;
  • Plan and subscription information.

Student data (entered by the teacher):

  • Student name and email (optional);
  • Unique identification code;
  • Test answers and grades obtained;
  • Association with the class and the institution.

Grade AI does not collect student data directly. Such data is entered by the teacher, who is legally responsible for that processing.

3. Purpose of Use

The collected data is used to:

  • Create and manage the teacher's account;
  • Enable the platform's operation (creating answer sheets, automated grading, and generating reports);
  • Manage subscriptions and billing through Stripe;
  • Improve the user experience and enhance our services;
  • Send important communications, such as updates and support.

4. Data Sharing

  • We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for commercial purposes.
  • Payment data is processed by Stripe, which acts as an independent processor and has its own privacy policy.
  • Data may be shared with infrastructure providers (hosting, authentication) strictly to enable the operation of the service.

5. Teacher Responsibilities as Controller

By registering students and entering data into the platform, the teacher declares and is responsible for:

  • Having obtained adequate authorization to collect and process the data of registered students, including the consent of parents or legal guardians when students are under 18 years of age, as required by Article 14 of the LGPD;
  • Use student data exclusively for legitimate educational purposes;
  • Inform students and their guardians about the use of the platform and the data that will be processed;
  • Not enter third-party data into the platform without the proper legal authorization;
  • Answer to data subjects (students and guardians) for any inquiries regarding the processing carried out.

Grade AI is not responsible for the processing of data carried out by the teacher without a proper legal basis or without the consent of the data subjects.

6. User Rights

In accordance with the LGPD, teachers and, when applicable, students' guardians have the right to:

  • Confirm the existence of data processing;
  • Access the stored data;
  • Correct incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated data;
  • Request the deletion of data;
  • Withdraw consent at any time.

To exercise your rights, contact us by email: suporte.gabaritofacil@gmail.com. Requests to delete student data must be directed to the teacher responsible for the registration, who is the controller of that data.

7. Security

We adopt appropriate technical and administrative measures to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration, including password encryption, token-based authentication, and per-user access control. Each teacher accesses exclusively the data they themselves have entered.

8. Data Retention

Data will be stored for as long as the teacher's account is active. After the account is closed, data may be retained for the minimum period required to fulfill legal obligations. The teacher may request early deletion at any time through the support email.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Whenever that happens, the new version will be published in the app with an updated revision date.
